** NO DROP OFF **

Luckily the 9 year old boy was taken to the local CO-OP and was collected and taken home by the police.

But this just shows you should never just drop your child off at the main gates to the park, take him over to his teams coach or manager and check in with them, Make them aware if you need to go for what ever reason and allocate another parent to be his carear for the nighs session. NEVER EVER just drop them off!

This incident could of ended very differently, but it was for a nice member of the public the child was looked after and got home safely, please think before you drop off.
Have you asked another parent to look after them, have you made the team manager or coaches aware who is looking after him.

At the end of the day we are all volunteers who are there to coach the kids rugby not a BABY SITTING SERVICE.
