New Open Age Coach Announced – Dave Manfredi Takes the Helm
Following the recent structural changes within the club, we are delighted to confirm that Dave Manfredi will step up as the new Latchford Albion Giants Open Age Head Coach.
Dave has been a valued part of the club for over a decade, coaching every age group from Cubs right through to the U18s. During his time with the U18s, he helped guide one of the most successful junior teams in the North West in recent years, reaching every major final and going on to win some of those.

A word from Dave:
“I can’t wait to get going. Open Age is something I’ve been involved in since I was 16, making my debut at Rylands. I’ll never forget that day playing Open Age as a junior always felt like the big aspiration. That’s something I want to share with the juniors coming through here at Latchford.
The U18s over the last few years have been unbelievable in everything we’ve done as a collective, and to now take that next step into Open Age is something I’m excited about. It’s going to be a completely different game, but I know we’ve got a very special bunch of lads here who give everything. If we can stick together over the next few years, Latchford Open Age will be competing at the top.”
⸻
Dave will continue to oversee the U18s alongside James Brabin and the recently returned Mike Cooper, who rejoins the club in a coaching role after previously representing Latchford as a player.
