Sean Bond steps away from his role as 1st Team Coach and moves into a new chapter as Coach Coordinator at Latchford.
Sean joined the club back in 2023 and has enjoyed a fantastic tenure, playing a key part in the U18s Lancashire Cup victory in 2024. That same year, his commitment to the sport and the community was recognised as he was named a 2024 Community Hero.
Most recently, in 2025, he stepped up to lead the Open Age side during a challenging period, a challenge he met head-on. His leadership helped guide the Albion Giants to a league title and a well-deserved promotion to Division 2.
The club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sean for his dedication, passion, and service not just to Latchford, but to rugby league as a whole over the past 15 years. While he steps away from frontline coaching, we’re delighted that he will continue to support our coaches and teams in his new role.
Once a Giant, always a Giant.
New open age coach appointment and structure to be announced in due course.
